CHRISTINA KRAL
gave a workshop on rapid video and sound editing and led us to Jackson Heights to conduct a sound recording relay of one street and documented our pan experience.

ERIK BURKE presented his work on and in the city.  This ranged from train tunnel graffiti, cross continental biking and drawing, and arts programming instigation in liminal spaces in Reno.

LUTHER CHERRY
is a pop-up artist and student fellow at Eyebeam.  He is a junior and cello major at LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and the Performing Arts.  He assisted the students with their pop-up intervention.

About:

CRW1 will activate NYC as an urban laboratory for reading, writing and intervening in the ways that clothing, food and music are produced, distributed and represented throughout the City. The course will culminate in a collaboratively produced book and block party that will share student work and test out new ways of reading, writing and representing economic, cultural, and aesthetic flows and systems of New York City.
